The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for providing reliable marketing, media, promotional and budget performance analysis, to be used to make strategic decisions impacting the performance of the business. This person will be responsible for bringing analytical performance on all marketing channels, based on spend, promotions, and creative execution and how it’s impacting the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Marketing Analyst position is responsible for managing the financial review and entry process for Marketing invoices
- Support the Marketing Team in the planning, execution, and reconciliation of the Marketing financial process for the Marketing budget and Operating Cost Plan throughout the fiscal year cycle
- Prepare, review and analyze sales forecasts, media budgets and strategic plans
- Prepare quarterly and yearly budget for marketing spend by location
- Develop key metrics and reports to ensure consistent tracking of marketing efforts
- Develop and implement a proactive program of processes, and deliverables to improve data gathering, analysis, and intelligence dissemination
- Work with advertising agency partners to manage media budgets for all paid media channels: TV, Radio, Print/Direct Mail, PPC/SEM, etc.
- Approve marketing invoices across all marketing initiatives & support marketing P&L management
- Improve tracking and data integrity across multiple POS, CRM and Marketing performance dashboards
- Monitor internal and external promotional performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Monitor Google Ads, Analytics, Meta & Trade Desk Performance across multiple brands and locations
- Determine lead calculations and create process on data exports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly basis
- Understand and measure call tracking performance and the connections between marketing channels, internal call centers, and the POS/CRM database
- Partner with Organic and Local Search Subject Matter Experts to communicate to brands any potential opportunities, investment, and key metrics of success
- Continuously monitor changes in the Paid Search ecosystem to provide recommendations for search impacting optimizations to overall strategy
- Partners with brand and agency teams to establish KPI's and goals for Digital Marketing Channels
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Business or relevant field
- Preferred 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong command of advanced data analysis tools and software
- Strong knowledge of financial budget management and accounting principles
- General knowledge of marketing disciplines and principles
- Comfort analyzing large data sets via SQL queries, pivot tables, etc.
- Knowledge of current digital consumer and industry behaviors trends, attitudes, preferences, and needs required
- Deep understanding of Paid Search (SEM, PPC) best practices, tools, and technologies to understand how best to drive results against complex marketing objective
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines
- Able to work well with people across multiple departments
- Ability to communicate, lead and present to senior level managers, and executive leadership

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
