What You will be Doing:
This role will report to the Vice President of Sales and Administration and focus primarily on the active sale of plumbing fixtures to retail customers over the phone and email.
· Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, qualifying leads and following up in a consistent and persistent manner (No “cold” prospecting required in this role; these are warm leads)
· Develop a thorough understanding of customers' needs, identifying sales opportunities and best product matches.
· Developing and communicating a value-based sales proposition and closing the sale through customer agreement
· Answering potential customer questions and following up with the customer for sales opportunities.
· Thoroughly articulating value proposition, product features, benefits and services
· Upselling products and services as opportunities open
· Closing sales and achieving sales targets weekly, monthly and annually.
Qualifications Needed:
In order to qualify for this role, you need a minimum 2 years of sales experience selling a tangible or intangible product. Structured sales training would be a plus.
Excellent listening skills, ability to overcome objections or hesitation, easy to talk to, friendly and persistent in follow-up.
Must not be afraid to ask closing questions and ask for commitment.
High School diploma or GED is required for this role; Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
In addition, we expect demonstrated experience in the following areas:
o Ability to handle multiple, competing scheduling and project priorities
o Providing excellent customer service to retail customers
o Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and experience
o Detail oriented and exceptional record-keeping
o Hands-on experience and intermediate experience with Microsoft Office 365 products
o Self-directed, self- reliant, organized, friendly, detailed and conflict resolution skills.
