Overview
Our team is growing! We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Commercial Siding Lead to oversee and lead a team on large-scale commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will specialize in ACM panels, metal siding, cement board siding, extruded aluminum siding, and metal roofing. As a lead, they will ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. The position requires someone who is a strong communicator, capable of working well with diverse teams, and able to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise: Oversee day-to-day operations of the siding installation team, ensuring safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines are followed.
- Installation: Direct and assist with the installation of ACM panels, metal siding, cement board siding, extruded aluminum siding, and metal roofing.
- Team Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Facilitate smooth communication between all parties involved.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed by the team, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Project Organization: Plan and schedule tasks, allocate resources, and ensure that materials are on-site when needed to avoid delays.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety regulations and protocols are followed on the job site. Lead safety meetings and inspections.
- Training & Mentorship: Train new team members on siding installation techniques, safety practices, and company standards. Provide guidance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any on-site challenges or issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Qualifications:
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Materials & Techniques: Extensive knowledge of commercial siding materials, installation methods, and best practices.
- Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of construction site safety and OSHA regulations.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety training.
- Other Skills: Forklift certification, experience with scaffolding, or familiarity with project management software.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
