Job Description
We are seeking experienced Concrete Laborers! As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete for a variety of construction projects, ensuring all tasks are completed with precision, efficiency, and in line with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete to the required specifications
- Level and finish concrete surfaces using tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats
- Ensure proper handling of materials, tools, and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized, and safe worksite
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during concrete work
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of the job site
Skills/Requirements:
- Proven experience in concrete labor, including pouring, mixing, and finishing concrete
- Familiarity with concrete tools and equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to follow OSHA standards
- Ability to read and follow project plans or instructions
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions
