Job Description :
Building training equipment for students.
Responsible for building training equipment from the circuit boards up to the cabinets or cases they are housed in.
Follow direction and schematics of the trainer build book.
Paying attention to detail; matching / identifying parts and correctly assembling onto training equipment through soldering, basic hand tools and other tools supplied.
Wiring; color coding, looping between guide pegs : following documentation, crimping / soldering wires.
Full assembly and check-out / Testing of training equipment.
Documenting progress of build.
Maintaining communication with supervisor of low supplies or issues.
Requirements :
Experience with electronic assembly, including soldering and wiring
Ability to read and follow schematics, diagrams, and assembly instructions
Proficiency with basic hand tools and soldering equipment
Strong attention to detail for identifying and matching parts
Ability to perform wiring tasks, including color coding, crimping, and looping
Experience with testing and troubleshooting assembled equipment
Ability to document build progress accurately
Strong communication skills to report issues or supply shortages
Ability to work independently and follow directions
Previous experience in electronics assembly or a related field
