What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Reliable Staffing Resources?
Job Duties :
Set up and perform general maintenance on machines to ensure efficient operation.
Train, coach, and teach employees all aspects of their roles.
Operate machines once set-up and maintenance tasks are completed.
Assist with shutting down the plant at the end of each shift, typically taking 15 minutes or less.
Occasionally work on Fridays for scheduled overtime or urgent machine setups.
Requirements :
Proficiency in speaking and reading English.
Basic computer skills.
Mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing facility.
Proficiency with hand tools, particularly wrenches.
Ability to climb on and off equipment.
Experience with mold changes, which can take 1-7 hours depending on the mold and machine. (Note : Molds weigh approximately 150 pounds but can be managed using a forklift.)
Competence in operating a sit-down electric forklift.
Job Details :
Monday - Thursday
6 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
At least 2.5 hours of guaranteed overtime weekly, contingent upon punctual attendance.
