Reliable Title & Escrow is an independent title and escrow company serving East Tennessee buyers, sellers, investors, and lenders. We have always been local and have years of experience in the real estate market. Our mission is to protect the buyer’s most valuable asset with a smooth, seamless closing. Our main goal is to close with care, clarity, and purpose.
The company is currently seeking a highly effective Closer for our Kingsport location. The Closer is responsible for assisting buyers, sellers, and the closing team in closing purchase and sale transactions—both cash and financed—in addition to closing refinance transactions in an accurate and timely fashion. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and problem-solving abilities are critical attributes for success in this role. Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask are equally important.
We are seeking someone energetic, goal-oriented, and customer-service driven, who can quickly and accurately complete tasks. The ideal candidate is dynamic, self-motivated, dependable, diligent, and collaborative. Good judgment is essential for effectively handling job responsibilities. This is a full-time position.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Downloading, preparing, and printing closing packages
- Communicating cash-to-close amounts to all parties
- Pre-closing audits
- Closing and notary services
- Submitting documents for recording
- Post-closing package copying and shipping
- Ledger disbursement and invoice remittance
- Maintaining recording and title policy logs
- Release tracking
- 1099s and post-closing document trailing
- Title insurance policy preparation
Closer Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of closing experience preferred but not required—we will coach
- Prior experience working for a title company is a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to assess and prioritize workload, balancing competing demands and deadlines while completing day-to-day tasks in a timely manner
- Discretion when handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly master multiple systems and programs (Qualia experience preferred but not required)
- Ability to work professionally toward conflict resolution with clients and coworkers
- High attention to detail and thorough review of work before sending to others
- Ability to work independently without supervision
