Dispatch Assistant - Intermodal Trucking Company
Reliable Transportation Specialists, in Chesterton has an immediate opening for a detail-oriented Dispatch Assistant with strong organizational skills and experience in coordinating logistics. The Dispatch Assistant must be proficient in managing schedules, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with inbound telephone calls and respond to e-mails quickly, professionally and efficiently
- Perform data entry and order processing functions accurately and within required time frames
- Ability to multitask throughout the day
- Handling driver routing daily
- Scanning
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Organized
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook-Email)
- Must work well in a TEAM
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
