Tree Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Worker to join our team. This role involves performing various tree care tasks, including trimming, pruning, and maintaining trees and landscapes. The ideal candidate will have experience with bucket trucks and rigging techniques, as well as a valid drivers license. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety in all operations.

Duties

• Operate bucket trucks safely for tree trimming and removal tasks.
• Perform tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and shaping trees to promote healthy growth.
• Utilize rigging techniques for safe removal of branches and trees.
• Maintain equipment and tools used in tree care operations.
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping tree locations and planning maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tree trimming, tree care, or ground work is required.
• Familiarity with bucket operation and rigging techniques is essential.
• Knowledge of horticultural practices related to growing and maintaining trees and gardens.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices in all job functions.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.36 - $25.72 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
