General Definition of Position (purpose)
This position is responsible for providing top quality customer service to all Reliance Bank customers. This position is responsible for balancing cash drawer, balancing all teller area machines, balancing vault and coin machine. Responsible for maintaining maximum security over bank assets. Also performs receptionist duties when required, by handling telephone calls and greeting/directing customers in the branch lobby.
Title of Supervisor: Teller Manager
Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities
- Perform teller transactions in a quick and efficient manner
- Maintain accuracy in all transactions
- Maintain bank determined balance limits in all drawers, machines, and vault
- Safe deposit box services
- Cross-sale of all bank products to the new and existing customers
- Handling incoming calls and greeting customers at the front desk of the bank lobby and/or the teller line
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Interpersonal skills to work with all customers and coworkers
- Accuracy in Money handling/balancing
- Highly efficient and organized
- Bank Product knowledge
Desired Experience
- 2 years cash handling experience
- Banking experience a plus
- ITI (Fiserv) experience a plus
- Spanish Language Speaking a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $24.75 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
