We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manufacturing estimation, with a strong preference for expertise in gear manufacturing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of analyzing project requirements, assessing costs, and collaborating across multiple departments to ensure accurate and competitive quotations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze blueprints, technical documents, and customer RFQs to develop accurate cost and material estimates.
- Collaborate with suppliers, special processors, and internal teams (Production, Engineering, Quality, and Sales) to gather necessary data.
- Assess production risks, feasibility, and potential challenges, providing detailed risk analyses.
- Prepare comprehensive cost analyses and financial reports to support customer quotations.
- Manage supplier relationships, including obtaining and evaluating quotes.
- Track and compile actual costs to refine estimation processes.
- Present project proposals and financial assessments to leadership.
- Utilize ERP systems (Epicor experience preferred) and other analytic tools to streamline estimation workflows.
