The Investment Analyst I will provide critical analytical and processing support for the general operations of the Investment Services Department. Key tasks include assisting with the timely entry of transactions into downstream systems, creating and maintaining reports as directed, and using critical thinking skills to analyze large data sets to draw conclusions and/or propose solutions to issues as they arise. The Investment Analyst I will also work closely with external vendors to obtain information for reporting and analysis of investment-related information.

The Investment Analyst I will also work closely with external vendors to obtain information for reporting and analysis of investment-related information.
Analysis of Investment Data
- Review and analyze data from various sources to produce management, accounting, and regulatory reports
- Produce and maintain analytical reports used for the general management of the investments portfolio
- Apply core investments knowledge, particularly for fixed income securities, to assess reasonability of data sets and to identify trends and outliers
- Work with stakeholders to resolve various investment reconciliations across systems and data sets
- Process several transaction types across multiple asset classes with third-party vendors, including bonds, equities, loans, derivatives, and others as assigned
- Monitor and understand the cash application process and actively participate in discussions around the appropriate matching of transactions among systems and reports
- Provide trade and reporting support to the portfolio management team, including ad-hoc requests as needed
- Process and review cash activity and invoice payments
- Review existing processes and workflows for improvement opportunities
- Participate in the onboarding of new asset classes, investment strategies, and investment systems
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering
- 0-2 years relevant experience
- Core knowledge about fixed income instruments and concepts
- Knowledge about general portfolio management
- Strong Excel skills around advanced functions including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables, arrays, and data aggregation techniques
- Experience working with various investment systems including custodial, loan processing, investment accounting, and portfolio management systems

Salary : $60,610 - $75,770
