Job Responsibilities and Requirements
The position requires you to serve as a leader within the IT organization, with a primary focus on Partner Integrations. This individual will help the company achieve its goals and advance its digital initiatives by contributing both strategically and tactically. This person will look at the company through the lens of Reliance's customers, with the goal of making the customers' experiences better. The success of the Integration initiatives will depend on how well end-to-end partner integration projects are planned and executed.
The role will collaborate with internal and external partners to design and implement data integrations between our software and other service provider software and is an integral part of the integration program, responsible for extracting business and customer value from digital partnerships.
You will run all aspects of complex integrations with major insurance carriers and other partners. You will coordinate all activities and deliverables to ensure the implementation is successful and then provide ongoing oversight and management of the connectivity with the partner in production.
This person is a strategic thinker who can align and excite internal stakeholders and resources to facilitate success through complex problem-solving, constructive dialogue, co-creating business improvement initiatives, and most importantly, partnering closely with the business partners to help drive sustainable change throughout the organization.

Role Capabilities
  • Take an active role in defining the pre-sale integration strategy and the API Product Portfolio.
  • Research and understand at a granular level the data and the process wrapped in the API product for both Reliance Matrix and the connected partner.
  • Lead partner discovery and help determine API connection fit.
  • Participate in the technical planning & requirements gathering phases for all development iterations to contribute to the API product design and use it as a foundation for managing the partner integration strategy and process.
  • Partner with the delivery team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as execution schedule.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to anticipate and address the impact the API integration might have on various operational and business functions.
  • Develop an efficient, repeatable standard approach to implementation effort for various API integrations.
  • Manage end-to-end implementation of the API integration with each partner.
  • Facilitate all stages of the project including discovery and requirements gathering, technical and operational analysis, project plan and timeline, budget, testing, move to production, and postproduction audit.
  • Work with connecting partner to gather any custom requirements, define unique operational workflows and processing rules, and respond to requests and questions.
  • Extremely high attention to detail in planning and managing the project cadence.
  • Work with Production Support on troubleshooting production issues including root cause analysis, operational impact mitigation, and coordinate fix if necessary.
  • Schedule and facilitate all implementation meetings maintaining tight communications between all stakeholders, and tracking deliverables, risks, impediments, mitigation plans, etc.
  • Maintain appropriate project documentation using project board.
  • Oversee testing of the integration.
  • Maintain best practices and proactively seek opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Leadership
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for a variety of audiences.
  • Represent Partner Integrations with key stakeholders across the company.
  • Promotes company values within departments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Related Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
  • PMI/PMP Certification.
  • Superior project management skills and acumen with minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in technology or high-volume operational function.
  • Complete understanding of Insurance operations and key data used in processing core transactions, especially in the pre-sale group benefits domain.
  • Experience working with internet-based services, online applications, or other technology-based projects.
  • Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to confidently prioritize and manage time and deliverables.
  • Solid experience with Agile methodology.
  • Understanding of API technology, architecture, and integrations a plus.
  • Good knowledge of LIMRA standards.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for solving complex problems and getting things done.
  • Self-starter with the ability to balance priorities and work in a lean environment.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, communication, presentation, documentation, and leadership skills.

Ability to Travel: Up to 10%

The expected hiring range for this position is $98,180.00 - $131,060.00 annually for work performed in the primary location (Philadelphia, PA). This expected hiring range covers only base pay and excludes any other compensation components such as commissions or incentive awards. The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be based on several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
