Summary
As an Equipment Operator at Reliance Leadership Investments, you will be instrumental in the operation of various heavy machinery on construction sites. This position works directly for the owner. Day to day will include working in and around Texarkana construction sites and projects on farm in Foreman, AR.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as, backhoes, tractors, mini-excavator and skid steers safely and efficiently.
- Perform site preparation tasks including digging and grading as required.
- Transport materials and equipment safely.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage on construction sites.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with various types of construction equipment including.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork on site.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications are preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
