What are the responsibilities and job description for the Calibration Engineer position at Reliance One, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities
- Provide data logging, data collection, and summaries, demonstrating tailpipe emission and OBD targets / objectives
- Provide calibration input to support all releases and sign-off completion
- Utilize MATLAB and Calibration Tools including ETAS and/or ATI
Emissions
Perform emission transparency for FTP’s
Conduct FTP emissions testing with prototype vehicles
Conduct emissions transparency sign-off testing
Understanding of Emission Regulatory requirements, including OBD
Comprehensive knowledge of internal combustion engines and effective engine and vehicle test methods
OBDII
Understanding of the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) calibration process for multiple monitors, testing, and or documentation required for self-certification
Provide any OBD calibration tuning to complete the required self cert test
Conduct R05 OBDII Self-Cert for the required sub-set of monitors
Any GPF calibration experience is advantageous
Job Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Familiar with engine calibration and testing ideally with an emission / OBD focus
- Ability to work hybrid location schedule
