Job Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documentation to create thorough mechanical estimates
- Conduct material take-offs and generate precise quantity estimates for HVAC piping, ductwork, plumbing, and process piping systems
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather pricing information and ensure precise cost evaluations
Job Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in mechanical estimating, with a focus on HVAC piping, ductwork, plumbing, and process piping systems
- In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Trimble, Quotesoft, FastPIPE, FastDUCT, or similar) and the Microsoft Office Suite
