What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at Reliance One, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities
- 3RD SHIFT 10:00pm - 6:30am
- Supervises production team members; directs daily activities of production workers
- Takes appropriate action to address the employee’s performance and/or behavior
- Supervises production operation within area of control to ensure compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, production standards and efficient operation of equipment
- Reviews production orders to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products in order to plan department operations
- Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products
- Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications while working to exceed customer expectations
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
Job Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility
- Experience in automotive environment preferred
