What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior System Engineer position at Reliance One, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities
- Managing assembly (BOM) part# complexity charts (including all Axle & Driveline Systems with a clear definition of each assembly part#), benchmarking, packaging within vehicle environment, working with release / development engineers to develop robust virtual and hardware-based system DVP&Rs with effective utilization of DFMEA / DRBFM
- Lead program design reviews, support program gate reviews, plan leadership reviews, and ensure adequate tracking of deliverables
- Timely closure of open items to enable an on-time execution of programs launches, and document program lessons learned
- Lead or support root-cause analysis and resolution of customer field issues, and support resolution of manufacturing and assembly concerns
- Provide status updates on projects and issues to the leadership team to maintain the transparency
