What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer position at Reliance One, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as "Subject Matter Expert" related to ACS (Architectural, Civil, Structural) systems
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules
- Provide internal review of ACS system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation
- Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, and facility operations
- Shop drawing review, RFI processing and Kanban completion for ACS systems
- Coordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities groups, and manufacturing groups
- Conduct work progress inspections on a continuous basis
- Support construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Large commercial or industrial construction experience
- 5 years of experience
