Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret customer test specifications and DVP&R to create test plans, seeking clarification from product engineers when needed
- Test prototypes, guide technicians, and ensure adherence to test plans
- Conduct testing, evaluation, and documentation to support product and equipment development and improvements
- Develop or modify test procedures, techniques, and equipment, working independently or with engineers
- Maintain and track equipment, ensuring proper functionality and scheduling of maintenance
- Assist in designing, developing, and commissioning test equipment and fixtures
- Support cross-training efforts in the lab, including creating or updating work instructions
- Analyze test results, provide feedback to engineers, and manage test schedules to ensure on-time completion
