Job Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently assemble components according to blueprints, schematics, and instructions
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines, wearing appropriate safety gear
- Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble parts, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying supervisors for additional resources
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs
- Quality control and testing fabricated fittings
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Work as part of a team in the assembly stage, collaborating effectively with other workers
- May be involved in receiving, counting, and stocking parts, as well as checking inventory levels
- Review incoming /outgoing materials for damage and accuracy
- Be flexible and able to multitask
Job Requirements
- Proven experience using various manual and powered hand tools
- Proven experience reading and interpreting blue prints or build instructions
- Experience working in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- 1-2 years warehouse working experience preferred
- PC Skills with MS office: outlook, word, excel
- Hi-Lo experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to receive and follow directions
- Detail oriented with accurate results
- Efficient in fast paced environments
