Position Summary:
- Master Data Integrity Analytics intern focus is to improve data accuracy and integrity of products by performing master data analytics from SAP ERP system on Supply Chain data to improve efficiencies in planning and procurement that drives inventory, customer service and cash flow.
Principal Responsibilities:
- This intern will play a vital role in validating Supply Chain Planning/Procurement master data information and accuracy within our SAP ERP system that drives decisions to make/buy product. They will data mine directly from SAP and perform analytics in Excel with predefined rules of data integrity. Intern to share items flagged in analysis with Supply Chain team to validate settings. They will monitor validation status for completion. Post validation, intern will prepare files accordingly to update master data in SAP. Update files to be presented to Master Data Management team to update SAP.
- Intern will be trained how and where to pull data from SAP tables.
Qualifications:
- Supply Chain knowledge and master data supporting Supply Chain functions
- Manufacturing master data (BOM, routing, workcenter, material/product master)
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, data validation)
- Analytical, data analysis, data mining
- Data governance & stewardship knowledge
- Business acumen
Education:
- Completed or working on these types of majors: BA/MBA/MS/BS in area of Supply Chain Mgmt, Operations Mgmt, Logistics Mgmt, Sustainable SC Mgmt, Data Science, Data Mgmt
Experience:
- 1 years Supply Chain role or projects
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, data validation)
- 1 years Analytical, data analysis, data mining from ERP systems
- Previous work comparing master data elements
- Business use of master data
- ERP System, preferably SAP MM/PP & table/databases
