Location: Sodus, New York Disclaimer: Reliant headquarters are located at 10 Benton Place, Sodus, New York. The position will allow for some remote work flexibility; however, an in-person presence at our headquarters is expected. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.


General Summary:


Reliant Credit union, ranked one of Rochester's top mid-sized workplaces eight years in a row, seeks an HR Operations Manager to join our team.


The HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing employee relations, benefits, and compensation functions. This role will drive organizational excellence and ensure Reliant remains an employer of choice. The HR Operations Manager will act as a trusted advisor to both employees and leadership, fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.


As a HR Operations Manager at Reliant, you will:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring fair treatment across the organization.
  • Oversees the company's employee benefit and leave programs, ensuring competitive offerings and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manages the open enrollment process for health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other benefits programs, acting as the primary liaison with benefits providers and brokers to resolve issues and provide support to employees.
  • Leads the development and administration of compensation programs, including salary structures and incentive programs. Conducts regular market research to ensure the company’s compensation practices are competitive and aligned with current industry trends and provides guidance on salary adjustments, promotions, and pay equity.
  • Provides oversight of day-to-day HR and Payroll operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR operations or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • HR Certification desired (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP)
  • In-depth knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, and compensation management.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Physical Requirements:

  • Use of keyboard, monitor, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
  • Communicate effectively in person and via telephone, video conferencing, email, and written documents.
  • Access document equipment and files above and below waist levels.
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
