What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Nursing Supervisor position at Reliant Healthcare Group?
The primary role of the Clinical Nursing Supervisor is to provide and document Private Duty Nursing care in accordance with the developed care plan and physicians’ orders for each individual client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Safe, excellent, and healthy patient care using knowledge and skills in accordance with Reliant Health Care Group’s policies and protocols, Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, and Nursing Practice standards
- Appropriate and mindful delegation and direction to employed Nurses and healthcare professionals within the department
- Conducts an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing the data collection based on the infant, toddler, preschool, school age or adolescent patient’s immediate condition or needs within timeframe specified by client facility’s policies, procedures, or protocols.
- Develops a plan of care that is individualized for the infant, toddler, preschool, school age or adolescent patients with collaboration of other members on the team
- Ability to follow an emergency plan
- Maintaining a safe home environment and appropriate use of equipment
- Maintain and Support client’s rights
- Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both the staff and the patient. (OSHA)
- Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other healthcare professionals as evidenced by clinical notes, case conferences, communication notes, and evaluations.
- Notify supervising nurses of changes in the client’s condition immediately.
- Provide health education to clients and/or caregivers.
- Documents interim changes of plan of care in timely fashion.
- Provide staff nurses with education and skills training in the home to provide safe and effective patient care when required
- On occasion, provide patient care when staff nurse is not yet available, learn the patient’s schedule, and provide oncoming staff nurse with ability to care for patient properly.

Basic Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to maintain various postures such as kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to regularly walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to transition from sitting to standing and vice versa independently.
- Must be able to utilize quick body movements as may be required by the behavior intervention plan.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Must be able to transfer/position/transport patients and adaptive equipment.
- Must have the visual ability to read and understand written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
- Must have the manual dexterity to perform electronic device functions such as data collection.

Salary : $75,000 - $78,000
