Loan Officer Trainee/Business Development Rep

This is the perfect position for someone who wants to get started in the mortgage industry that loves speaking with people and building relationships. This is an entry level position with room for quick advancement. This will be a salaried position with commission opportunities.

Our highly recognized award-winning team helps potential homeowners find financing for their real estate needs. The partner we seek will help turn prospects into clients by various methods, but mostly will be converting over the phone so strong phone skills are a must! Will be helpful if you already have strong phone skills but these also can be taught and we are willing to teach this. Our ideal candidate must however be highly personable and outgoing to establish strong rapport with our clientele.

Responsibilities

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Prospect and convert qualified leads
• Utilize warm calling techniques to engage with prospects and build relationships
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities through effective questioning and active listening
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the market and industry trends to effectively position products/services
• Candidates should feel comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls in this role
• A self-motivated and target-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving six-figure goals, is necessary
  
  

Qualifications

The following experience and skills are preferred:

• Must be able to work in a high fast paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and have outstanding follow-up skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Will be helpful if you have either mortgage or real estate related background
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills are key attributes for success in this position
  
  

Compensation- $17/hour plus commission per file closed
