Job Summary:
As a Mortgage Banking Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in the mortgage industry while training to become a Mortgage Loan Officer. You will work closely with borrowers, follow up on leads, and utilize our CRM to manage client interactions. All leads provided are inbound, giving you a great opportunity to connect with interested borrowers. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a career in mortgage lending, develop strong sales skills, and provide outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist borrowers throughout the mortgage process by gathering documentation, answering questions, and providing guidance.
Follow up on inbound leads from various sources, including inbound inquiries and marketing campaigns.
Utilize the company’s CRM to track client interactions, update records, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
Educate potential borrowers on loan products, qualification requirements, and the application process.
Work closely with senior Mortgage Loan Officers to learn best practices and industry regulations.
Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to ensure timely loan approvals.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company policies and guidelines.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to prepare for the Mortgage Loan Officer role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; relevant experience in sales, finance, or customer service is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn the mortgage industry.
Must be willing to obtain required licensing to transition into a Mortgage Loan Officer role.

Salary : $45,000 - $75,000
