Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. You will work collaboratively with other team members to maintain equipment and systems, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
- Perform handyman services including but not limited to dry wall repair, painting, grouting
- Handle plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks and unclogging drains.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed to support repairs or improvements.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Operate logic controllers for automated systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and inquiries from facility users.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in supervising teams and leading projects effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Experience in welding and metal fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and automated systems is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to maintenance challenges.
