WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
Your typical schedule goes from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility depending on the job site and construction scheduling requirements. There are also occasional overtime opportunities.
WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As a Low Voltage AV Tech, you work on a variety of audio-visual projects for both commercial and residential clients. You are responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio, video, and control systems while upholding a clean and organized work area. This may involve pulling and terminating wiring, configuring equipment, and testing and diagnosing system issues. You work under the direction of an experienced technician to learn the ins and outs of the trade and develop your own skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
- Working knowledge of electrical and networking concepts
- Ability to use hand and power tools as well as read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to wear PPE, lift up to 75 lbs., travel between job sites, and occasionally stay overnight for multi-day projects
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid US driver's license and clean driving record
Low voltage or audio-visual installation experience would be preferred but isn't required for this entry-level position. As long as you're communicative, collaborative, cooperative, and committed to customer service, you could be the one we need!
