SEEKING 2ND LEASING CONSULTANT
Assists the Assistant and Property Manager in leasing properties within the residential property management portfolio. Responsibilities involve a broad range of property management functions, including, but not limited to, reception duties, marketing and leasing, tenant relations, and lease paperwork preparation. Work is performed in a combination of office and onsite settings.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
A. Markets and leases current and projected vacancies. Responsibilities include preparing advertisements, fielding inquiries, showing properties and completing lease agreements and related paperwork.
B. Handles inbound phone calls on a multi-line phone system. Routes phone calls to appropriate departments / personnel.
C. Performs such other duties as may be directed by appropriate authority.
Job Qualifications Education
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. High preference for individuals with an Associates or Bachelors Degree in business management, marketing, or real estate.
Experience: Previous real estate or property management experience preferred, but not required.
Prior supervisory and sales experience helpful.
Special Skills: Familiarity with a computer; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer. Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: ability to walk properties, including 4 flights of stairs, complete physical inspections, deliver resident communications and show apartments. Be able to effectively communicate with residents, staff, supervisors, vendors, etc. Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. to facilitate vacuuming, moving office furniture and lifting of supplies as needed.
Other Requirements
Must have the ability to work 40 hours per week. Standard work hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30am–5:00pm.
A clear pre-employment background check is required – including a clean driving record.
Residency requirements will apply; qualified applicants must live within a 20 minute radius of our downtown La Crosse corporate office.
Compensation & Benefit Package
This full-time employment opportunity qualifies for the following compensation and benefit package:
- Annual salary
