What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Intern position at Reliant Transportation?
We are looking for Summer Interns!
Reliant Transportation is one of the largest Bulk Brokerage Firms in the Industry, servicing many Fortune 500 customers. We are looking for outgoing and eager college interns to jump into our fast-paced work environment and contribute from day one! No day is the same as you work side-by-side with our team of brokers, salesman, customer service, and accounting teams to provide solutions for our customers.
We are based out of Southeast Lincoln and offer a casual work environment (Yes, sweatpants are part of our work attire!).
This is a paid internship, with the chance of full-time employment at the commencement. This is Reliant’ s goal, as we are rapidly expanding our operations! Our interns will also help grow and fulfill our core values:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Inside Sales
- Work and contribute results alongside our brokerage team
- Engage in business development and form meaningful carrier relationships
- Negotiate fair market pricing and freight opportunities with trusted carriers
- Communicate efficiently with our Customer Service Team to ensure full industry execution
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolve any transportation related issues such as delays, carrier problems or load discrepancies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Service/admin
- Work alongside our sales team to ensure amazing customer service
- Communicate updates to our customers
- Enter new contracts for our sales team
- Process freight tickets for invoicing and billing
