As a Project Manager, you will plan, oversee and lead projects from concept through to completion. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. You will help align the teams of highly motivated and talented individuals who collaborate with Development Leads, Product Managers and QAs across the company – all of whom build GreyMatter.
The everyday hustle:
- Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects
- Work with product managers and development leads and managers in developing a strategy and execution plan to provide compelling capabilities in GreyMatter.
- Work closely with senior engineers across the teams and geographies to understand constraints and suggest alternatives.
- Instill best practices for Project Management, assure schedules align with business objectives and communicate risk.
- Task management - prioritize, plan, track and communicate status of projects and features
- Career management and development of direct reports
- Minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent experience
- Solid software/hardware development background including clear wins
- Ability to navigate conflict and remain focused on the big-picture
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand dependencies
- Someone with an eye for seeing where and when tactical and strategic decisions improve our product roadmaps
- A leader with a high EQ and maturity to work with a set of highly capable and empowered team members
- Genuine interested in management project progress and adapt work as needed
- Focus on building the best products while mitigating risk and variability
- Desire to nurture the process while identifying areas of improvement and optimization
