Job Purpose
The Clinical Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top healthcare professionals to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role involves full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring process while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent relationship building skills, and the ability to manage multiple hiring needs in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role focuses on creating and executing recruitment strategies to attract qualified clinical professionals, such as physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. This includes sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, while building and managing a candidate pipeline. The recruiter will screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and negotiate pay and benefits in line with site budgets. Recruiter will work closely with stakeholders to understand workforce needs, develop recruitment plans, and build relationships with residency programs and professional associations to support talent acquisition. Recruiter will be expected to manage, monitor, and track pipelines.
Additionally, the recruiter ensures a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear, timely communication and building strong relationships to support retention. Recruiter will assist with the application and reference process while maintaining ongoing communications with all candidates throughout the process. The recruiter will also be responsible for tracking market trends and providing leadership with regular updates to ensure informed decision making.
Qualifications
- 2 years of healthcare recruiting experience, preferably in clinical staffing or agency setting
- Strong knowledge of healthcare roles, credentials, and regulatory requirements with certifications, licenses, or qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in applicant tracking and sourcing tools
- Organizational skills.
- Professional communication in both written and verbal skills
- Strategic and proactive approach
- Ability to travel
Working Location
The Clinical Recruiter will operate out of the Corporate Office in Tupelo, MS. This position does have consideration for remote/hybrid flexibility.
