What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Relias Healthcare?
The Controller will be responsible for managing financial reporting, accounting operations, and the budgeting process on a full-time basis for Relias Healthcare, its subsidiaries, and its affiliated entities (RH). The Controller must possess a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the desire to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization. This position will work side by side with senior financial leadership and the operations team to support the vision and growth of the organization.

Education/Experience/Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
2. Ten years experience in finance related position with extensive knowledge of corporate finance required, healthcare experience preferred.
3. Previous supervisory experience required.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across teams
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism along with strong curiousity to learn.
9. Experience with ERP or General ledger systems, Sage/Intaact and UKG experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skill & Ability: Ability to flourish in a team management system and enjoy working with a cohesive team. Competent use of the Microsoft office suite of products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Attention to detail is key.
Language Ability: Ability to read, write and clearly speak the English language. Ability to read, write and clearly speak the Spanish language a plus. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and deal with multiple linguistic cultural variables.
Reasoning and Mental Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Self-directing and organized. Ability to reason objectively. Ability to interpret state/ federal/agency regulations. Ability to document concisely, accurately and in a timely manner.
