Job Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the functions of challenging behaviors.
Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment data.
Implement evidence-based behavior analytic interventions to address client needs.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
Provide supervision and guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians and other support staff.
Conduct skill assessments to identify areas for skill development and growth.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and consistency.
Train and educate stakeholders on implementing behavior intervention plans and behavior management techniques.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards as set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with advances in the field of behavior analysis.
Advocate for clients’ needs and rights within various service settings.
Facilitate parent training sessions to enhance generalization and maintenance of skills in natural environments.
Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in behavior and progress.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure client safety and well-being.
Job Requirements
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or pending certification
Arizona LBA Licensed or pending licensure
Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
Experience in developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
Proficiency in data collection and analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to train and supervise staff and caregivers
Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in the field
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable to the role)
CPR and First Aid certification (if required by the employer)
