Reliatus Behavioral Health, a leading mental health organization specializing hiring mental health professionals to complete comprehensive assessments, therapy, and support services, is currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Rockville, Maryland . This full-time position is dedicated to conducting Autism Assessments to provide valuable insights and support for individuals and their families.
- Responsibilities :
- AutismAssessment :
- Conduct thorough and accurate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments using standardized tools, clinical interviews, and observational methods.
- Diagnostic Evaluation :
- Provide clear and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations based on assessment findings, in accordance with the latest diagnostic criteria and best practices.
- Collaboration :
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other psychologists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Documentation :
- Maintain detailed and organized assessment records, prepare written reports, and communicate findings effectively to clients, families, and relevant stakeholders.
- Professional Development :
- Stay informed about the latest research, diagnostic tools, and treatment modalities related to Autism Spectrum Disorders, and actively participate in ongoing professional development.
- Client Support :
- Offer guidance and support to individuals and families by explaining assessment results, recommending appropriate interventions, and facilitating referrals to additional services when necessary.
- Adherence to Ethical Standards :
- Uphold ethical guidelines and standards set by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.
- Qualifications :
- Licensed Psychologist :
- Hold a valid and current license as a psychologist in the state of Maryland.
- Experience :
- Demonstrated experience in conducting Autism Assessments and diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Education :
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
- Communication Skills :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Team Player :
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
