What are the responsibilities and job description for the PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER - RED BANK, NJ position at Relief Mental Health?
Responsibilities :
- Administer intranasal esketamine (Spravato) and monitor patients during mandated monitoring times
- Assess patients for appropriateness of Spravato treatment through patient consults
- Provide Psychiatric medication management to existing and new patients
- Work in tandem with our Psychiatrist to conduct follow ups and recommend new patients for TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation)
- Facilitate drug and pregnancy tests as necessary
- Conduct consultations for Medication Management as well as routine follow up visits
- Perform patient evaluations and assessments as necessary
- Treatment plan development
- Monitoring progress of patients
- Communication with staff, family, and patients
- Collaborate with clinical staff as well as other department leads
- Will serve as a provider for the Clinic utilizing a clinical assistant, collaborating with in house therapists, consulting with the clinic manager, and collaborating with our psychiatrist and other providers
- Actively work with leadership to recommend new modalities, implement new programs, and provide the most innovative care available
