Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Warren, NJ

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct administration of Spravato and perform monitoring during treatments
  • Conduct consults for Spravato treatment
  • Facilitates drug tests, pregnancy tests as necessary
  • Conduct consultations for Medication Management as well as routine follow up visits
  • Perform patient evaluations and assessments as necessary
  • Treatment plan development
  • Monitoring progress of patients
  • Communication with staff, family, and patients
  • Collaborates with clinical staff as well as other department leads

Qualifications :

  • PMHNP or Psychiatric certification required
  • Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or certified Physician Assistant with an applicable state license
  • Must have an active license and DEA #
  • Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
  • Minimum one-year experience in a skilled Healthcare setting, ie. psychiatry
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting
