Job Summary:
The Clinician will provide direct care services to clients in various levels of care within Relief Recovery Center. This role includes conducting individual and group therapy, participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and ensuring high-quality clinical documentation. The Clinician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in their recovery journey, addressing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Treatment Planning & Coordination:
- Actively participates in Interdisciplinary Treatment Plan meetings.
- Shares pertinent client information with the treatment team, incorporating insights from the client’s family and other sources.
- Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions and adjusts approaches as needed.
Direct Client Care:
- Performs regular individual therapy with clients and/or families
- Conducts a minimum of four (4) process, educational, or chemical dependency groups per week.
- Provides direct care at all levels, ensuring comprehensive support.
- Identifies barriers to treatment completion and implements corrective actions.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Documents client progress, regressions, and interventions in medical records.
- Performs weekly internal chart audits and ensures Quality Professional (QP) signing of charts.
- Monitors and maintains accurate utilization review (UR) documentation for insurance purposes.
Crisis & Emergency Response:
- Recognizes, responds to, and assists in psychiatric crisis situations and provides necessary interventions.
- Assists in medical emergencies as needed.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Attends daily and weekly staffing meetings as scheduled.
- Communicates effectively with clients, staff, and physicians regarding treatment progress and concerns.
- Provides client education on Advance Directives and other relevant topics.
- Participates in clinical and administrative meetings to ensure interdepartmental collaboration.
Facility Compliance & Other Duties:
- Adheres to all policies, procedures, and facility philosophy regarding client care.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or leadership team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required).
- Licensure or certification as LADAC1, LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT
Experience:
- Experience working with substance use disorders and mental health conditions (preferred).
- Knowledge of group facilitation techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while providing individualized client care.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Crisis intervention skills and ability to manage high-risk situations.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- This position requires on-site work at the facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
