Job Description:
Relief Spine and Pain Center, located in Fort Payne, Alabama, is seeking an experienced and efficient Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. This position focuses on providing exceptional care to patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, primarily managing follow-up visits. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume clinic environment. Approximately 30 patient encounters a day, mostly follow ups. Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a bonus.
RVU-based bonus structure, with the potential to earn up to $15,000 for exceptional candidates who demonstrate efficiency and the ability to manage higher patient volumes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including medical history reviews and evaluations of current conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and modify personalized treatment plans utilizing medical and interventional pain management strategies.
- Educate patients about their diagnoses, treatment plans, and lifestyle changes for optimal outcomes.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging) as necessary for patient care.
- Document all patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record (eClinicalWorks preferred).
- Foster a positive, respectful, and professional attitude toward patients, staff, and colleagues at all times.

Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alabama. Active DEA license in AL or willing to apply for licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pain management, primary care, or a related field; interventional pain management experience preferred.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage a high patient volume while maintaining excellent care standards, proficiency in EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred), and strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
