Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Radiologic Technologist, you would provide information to diagnose patient illnesses, by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs. Prior to each exam, you would prepare patient for radiological procedure through proper positioning and image technique, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- You will maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- You will review each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents and all types of care to the patient.
- Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.
ON CALL SCHEDULE
8 8hr shifts of call per month DEPENDING ON STAFFING NEEDS
Call is used for emergencies, call outs, gaps in schedule and department workload.
Qualifications
Education :
Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training.
License / Certification :
Experience : WILL ACCEPT NEW GRADS!!
Additional Information :
When they get called in, it is an automatic 2hrs overtime. This is regardless if they are there for 30 min. If they leave after 30 minutes and get called back in within that 2hr window they would not get another 2hr overtime minimum. As long as they don't punch back in within the 2hrs that they originally did, they get another call back. Any time that they clock in on call they are getting overtime.
Shift times : Days / Evening / Nights
SIGN ON : 15K (2 year commitment)
Relo : Yes up to 2,500 (2 year commitment)
Shift Diffs : Evening $2.50, Nights $3 11p- 7a, Weekends $1
Salary : $2 - $3
