Must live 100 miles away
Must have minimum of 2 years of level 2 or greater NICU experience and ideally preceptor ability / experience RRT credentials required.
ACLS / BLS / PALS Required
For expedited onboarding travelers will need to provide the below compliance items to start.
National Background Screen including OIG EPLS NSO etc. within 30 days
Drug Screen within 30 days
TB Results within 12 months
Flu & Covid Vaccination or Declination Form
License Verification (Nursys and BON)
Certifications (ACLS BLS NRP etc.)
All additional requirements shall be submitted no later than 14 days from assignment start date. Contract will be cancelled if remaining documents are not received by the deadline.
The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care by prescription of the physician. Responsibilities include the diagnostic evaluation (not limited to Obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens interpreting physiologic data performing tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system) management education and rehabilitation and care of the patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. The practice includes the application of technology and the use of treatment protocols across all care sites including but not limited to the application and monitoring of medical gases and environmental control systems mechanical ventilatory support artificial airway care bronchopulmonary hygiene pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures cardiopulmonary rehab hemodynamic cardiovascular support.
