Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting

We're looking for a Senior Accountant with a background in public accounting (CPA preferred) and solid financial reporting experience. In this role, you'll take the lead on preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring GAAP and SEC compliance, and supporting both internal and external audits.

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid, 3 days WFH)

Salary: $95,000 to $105,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, and support the preparation of SEC filings
• Assist with quarterly reviews, the annual audit process, and ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements
• Research technical accounting issues and support the implementation of new regulatory guidelines
• Maintain supporting documentation and help streamline reporting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex transactions and various ad-hoc projects as they come up

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3 years of experience in public accounting or working for a public company
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset
• Positive, personable, and able to work well with people across all levels
