Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close procedures, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger analysis
- Review and ensure accurate inventory transactions, capturing all costs and adjusting general ledger entries as needed
- Analyze financial data and prepare detailed variance reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
- Assist in the preparation of external audit documentation and support the audit process as required
- Manage and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements, including documenting procedures and enhancing reporting efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
