Reporting into our Global Head of Distribution and Innovation, the Distribution Leader - AVP, East Coast US will play a key role in shaping and executing our strategic vision for distribution in one of the most dynamic regions in the industry. This position will drive profitable growth and strengthen relationships with retail and wholesale brokers across the East Coast. By leveraging a "One Relm" approach and an entrepreneurial spirit, you will partner closely with underwriting teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to the needs of our broker and client partners. We are looking for a candidate who excels in driving sales, developing strong relationships, and bringing innovative insurance solutions to market.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and enhance awareness of Relm’s unique offerings, competitive advantages, and value proposition among brokers and clients across the East Coast.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for retail and wholesale brokers in the region, fostering trusted relationships that drive business growth.
- Represent Relm at key industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance visibility and market presence.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Distribution, underwriting teams, and business unit leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive East Coast distribution strategy.
- Identify new business opportunities across all lines of business, ensuring alignment with Relm’s overall strategic objectives.
- Leverage market insights to adapt strategies and capitalize on emerging trends, ensuring Relm remains at the forefront of innovation in the insurance industry.
- Drive deep and meaningful client engagement, ensuring broker and client needs are fully understood and met with tailored solutions.
- Lead cross-selling initiatives to grow and diversify relationships with existing clients.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend virtual and in-person broker and client meetings, ensuring alignment with regional and organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain quantitative insights for the region, including KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and CPIs (Customer Performance Indicators), to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Global Head of Distribution, ensuring data-driven decisions support long-term growth.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, aligning regional efforts with Relm’s broader strategic goals.
- Champion Relm’s vision, mission and values, ensuring they are reflected in all broker and client interactions.
- Embrace the dynamic nature of a fast-growing organization, understanding that responsibilities may evolve as the business scales.
- Actively contribute to organizational initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior distribution or business development role, within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of the East Coast insurance market, including established relationships with key brokers and networks.
- Proven track record of driving profitable growth and achieving ambitious sales and relationship management targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure success.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the East Coast to meet with brokers, clients, and attend events.

The annual salary for this role is structured within a range of USD$200,000 to USD$230,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
