You will do so to create preferences and active users. You will assess customer needs, develop firm-specific and school-specific business plans, and educate customers. You will also partner internally to maximize contract renewals, by ensuring the customer is receiving value from our products.ResponsibilitiesUsing consultative sales to increase active users and win preference with law firms and law schoolsCommunicating credibly with law firms and schools to understand their challenges and improve business in innovative waysListening to law firm customers and responding with product solutions and research paths to improve their work-life balanceDeveloping strategic account plans, recognizing sales opportunities, targeting specific sales activities, and analyzing competitor threatsPartnering with law firm client managers to overcome customer challenges and position them to close significant opportunitiesDelivering specialized customer presentations that communicate our value proposition and competitor differentiators to create new active usersExecuting marketing strategies aimed at positioning LexisNexis as the higher-caliber source in meeting the needs of partnersTargeting, hiring, and managing hourly student workers to assist in the accomplishment of goals at law schoolsRequirementsHave a Juris Doctor degreeMust be an active member of the State Bar of WisconsinPossess legal practice, training or sales experienceDisplay excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience developing and executing on account plans and coordinating key stakeholders and resources to positively impact clientsDemonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledgeBe able to travel based on client and business needs (up to 50% of the time)Be able to work solo and own and manage a territoryHave the ability to work as part of a team, accomplishing mutual team goalsWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work / life balance across the organization.
