Primary Role:
The Family Ministry Pastor will provide vision, energy, oversight, and direction to the Family Ministries of Remade Church. The Family Ministry Pastor will seek to see lost students found and help found students grow. They will promote Remade’s vision of Being a safe place for people to be Remade in Christ by offering Real, Relevant, and Refreshing environments.

You are: in love with Jesus and have a growing relationship with Him, gifted with kids and youth, a relentless recruiter, a leader of leaders, up-to-date on the latest trends and expectations for Family Ministry, a people-gatherer who loves to both work hard and have fun, who can develop people and build healthy teams, passionate, detail oriented, self-motivated, and a great vision caster.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
As Staff Pastor Serve as a member of the pastoral staff team. Participate in staff meeting. Participate in regular visitation and outreach opportunities. Perform general pastoral ministry to the students, their families, & community. Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
As Family Pastor While we feel that the following responsibilities will help you achieve success at Remade Church, the Family Ministry Pastor will have the flexibility to use your creativity to develop new ministries and methods to reach and disciple students and their parents. Find, encouraging, and developing the Kid’s Director and Youth Director (Be slow to give people this title). Allow the Directors to lead their ministries under your guidance and direction. Work to encourage and equip the current Kids and Youth Coordinators. Help to set annual youth ministry and kids ministry goals. Participate in personal training opportunities. Make sure that the Directors are following Background check procedures and providing a safe environment for all kids. Be available to counsel and pray with children, youth and their parents regarding spiritual matters. Maintain a strategy for reaching and encouraging new children, youth and families into the life of the church.
Knowledge/Gifts/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
Experience in the area of children, youth and/or family ministry. Ability to connect relationally with parents and children. A passion to create an environment for spiritual growth in children, youth and their families. Strong leadership, organizational, administrative, and motivational skills. Strong abilities and experience in equipping leaders and working with teams. Proven ability to develop and implement strategy. A willingness and ability to pioneer new things and inspire others to new initiatives. Good teaching ability and communication skills. Counseling skills. Open to others suggestions and utilizes them when suitable.
Accountability: The Family Ministry Pastor is part of the Staff and accountable to the Senior Pastor.
