Job Summary :
The CNA will provide essential care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and working closely with the nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Essential Functions :
- Patient Care :
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nursing staff.
Monitor and document patient condition and care provided in medical records.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Work collaboratively with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Minimum Position Qualifications :
Must be 18 years of age
One (1) year experience in a comparable job classification
A) Training program / competency eval as specified in §418.76 (b) (c) of the Medicare regulations.
B) Competency eval program that meets §418.76 (c)
C) Nurse Aide training / competency eval program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry :
D) State Licensure program that meets requirements of §418.76
Environmental Conditions :
Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to work flexible schedule, ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather. Moderate noise level; tasks may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens; moderate stress and emotional demands.
Physical Requirements : Sitting is required. Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs. Ability to travel.
