Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team in Greencastle PA. The primary responsibility of this role is to disassemble end-of-life servers and sort their parts efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble end-of-life servers according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Sort and categorize server parts based on type, condition, and usability.
- Identify and separate reusable components for recycling or repurposing.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
- Other tasks as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in electronic component disassembly or assembly in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment used in electronic disassembly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and categorizing parts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Prior experience with/in a WMS is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, safely and effectively.
Salary : $19 - $20
