Expo/Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and with exceptional service. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to facilitate a smooth dining experience in our restaurant or banquet setting. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table, including utensils, condiments, and napkins.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and any special requests are accommodated.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and kitchen.
• Support the culinary team during busy periods by assisting with food handling tasks as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with banquet operations is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is beneficial.
• A background in culinary arts or cooking can enhance your understanding of the role.

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour
