Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamicData Entry PharmacyTechnicianto join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.

You will work in Houston, but support our Plymouth, MI pharmacy. We will cover the cost for you to be registered by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy!

Location: Houston, TX (Potential to work remotely after 8 months as long as productivity goals are met).

Salary range: $18-$20/hour plus shift differential

Schedule: 9:00pm – 5:30pm Monday - Friday and 7:00pm – 3:30pm rotating weekends

KeyResponsibilities

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.

Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:

• Efficient order entry and follow-up
• Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
• Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
• Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Mustwork withurgency andtimeliness
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician and in good standing.
• Must be willing to obtain registration with the Michigan State Board of Pharmacy (we will pay the fees.)
  
  

Skills & Abilities

• Strong computer skills
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
• Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required.
